To provide a safe, comfortable, and loving home-away-from-home for your feline family member. We can assure you that your feline guest receives personalized care, attention, giving you peace of mind while you're away.
About Us
The Purr House was created with care by owner Tawnia. With over 38 years of owning and loving cats, she believes this is a service that Winnipeg can and will benefit from. We know how important it is to have your feline family member properly looked after when you need to go out of town. We have 7 individual rooms to choose from, so your feline family member can feel safe and relaxed.
With limited cat-only boarding options in Winnipeg, The Purr House offers safe, comfortable rooms designed just for cats. Life happens - and we're here to help with that!
Our Services
We offer both day and overnight accommodations, ideal during home construction or renovations, as well as extended stays for vacations or longer absences. Daily brushing is included to support each feline's comfort and overall well-being.
In home check-ins are available based upon availability. For added convenience, feline pick-up and drop-off services are also offered.
What To Bring
New environments can be stressful for cats and may cause anxiety. To help ensure a comfortable and positive experience, we recommend the following:
Food (REQUIRED): Please provide enough food for the duration of your feline family member's stay. An additional fee will apply if extra food is required.
Familiar Items: Bringing your feline family member's favorite blanket, bed or toy is highly encouraged. Familiar scents from home can help ease anxiety and provide comfort in an unfamiliar environment. Please note: Blankets, beds and toys are offered in each of our 7 rooms should they be needed.
Additional Comforts: You are welcome to bring any other items you feel will help your feline family member feel at home during their stay.
Pricing
Day Stay: $30.00 ($45.00 for 2 felines
Overnight Stay: $45.00 per night ($60.00 for 2 felines)
Weekly Stay: $300.00 ($400.00 for 2 felines)
Extended Stay: Please inquire for customized rates
Additional Services
Feline pick-up: $15.00
Feline Drop-Off: $15.00
In-house check-in: $30.00
Administering Medication: $5.00
